Size & Framework
Measuring 5.18 metres long and 4.18 meters wide, this carport stands on six robust posts (120mm square), offering ample space for one standard car or several motorcycles and bicycles. The solid timber framework ensures long-lasting stability. Wooden brackets at each post provide additional strength and visual appeal.
Apex Roof Design
The apex roof features a traditional pitched profile at 15 degrees, covering approximately 26m² square metres of ground area. The twin-slope design channels rainwater efficiently to both sides, while the raised centre provides extra headroom. 2.07m is the internal clearance height at the eaves (where the roof meets the posts), and 2.86m is the total external height. Sturdy timber beams (44mm × 145mm) form the roof frame. Tongue-and-groove boards (18mm × 88mm) create a weathertight surface, with a ridge cover board protecting the apex. Edge boards (18mm) reinforce the perimeter.
How It’s Made
The entire carport is constructed from Nordic spruce timber with 44mm thick profiles throughout. This timber species is prized for its dense, tight grain structure that provides exceptional dimensional stability and natural resistance to moisture and decay. All components are precision-cut using advanced computerised cutting systems (CNC technology), guaranteeing exact dimensions. Every piece slots together with engineered accuracy. The tongue-and-groove roof boards interlock seamlessly to create a weathertight seal, while the substantial timber beams provide structural strength without excessive weight.
