OUR STORY
From a timber trading company to a full-cycle wooden house manufacturer. A family business connecting European homes with Nordic forests.
In 1997, a Dutch father and son saw an opportunity: the Netherlands needed high-quality timber, and the Baltic region had it. They founded Dadsons to bridge that gap.
Two years later, they brought on Latvian forestry specialists. Western business rigor met regional wood expertise. By the early 2000s, we were exporting over 5000 m³ of Baltic timber annually.
As customer demands grew, we expanded our sourcing to Northern Finland, where slow-growing spruce develops the tight grain and density needed for year-round structures. In 2018, we acquired our own production facilities.
Today, we source both Baltic and Finnish timber and manufacture complete wooden buildings. Controlling the full chain eliminates the quality gaps that come from working with multiple suppliers. We oversee forest selection, kiln-drying, CNC cutting, and delivery, so every component meets our specifications before it reaches your site.
Established by a Dutch father and son team, focusing on timber import/export.
