Spacious 6×5m Carport with Contemporary Apex Roof

Size & Framework

Measuring 5.95 metres long and 5.18 metres wide, this carport stands on six sturdy posts (120mm square), creating two distinct bays that adapt to different needs. The solid timber framework ensures long-lasting stability, while decorative brackets add strength and character.

Apex Roof Design

The 15-degree pitched roof covers approximately 37m² of ground area. Twin slopes efficiently shed rainwater to both sides while creating impressive headroom. Height starts at 2.07 metres at the edges and rises to 3.13 metres at the centre peak. Substantial timber beams (44mm × 145mm) support the structure. Interlocking tongue-and-groove boards (18mm × 88mm) form a weathertight seal, protected at the ridge by a cover board. Edge boards (18mm) fortify the perimeter.
