The GW-3 is a premium tilt-and-turn timber window made for garden houses, summerhouses, and log cabin structures that require reliable thermal performance and weather resistance. Built from a 68mm finger-jointed and laminated pine profile, this window delivers superior structural rigidity and long-term dimensional stability.
Engineered for Performance and Longevity
The two 4mm tempered glass panes are separated by a 16mm cavity (4+16+4) filled with Argon gas, which provides better insulation than air. One pane features a microscopically thin coating that reflects heat, enhancing energy efficiency by reducing thermal transfer (LowE). The silicone sealant ensures the unit remains airtight and watertight throughout its life. Overall, the composition achieves a U-value of 1.1.
Premium Hardware and Weather Sealing
The tilt-and-turn mechanism is supplied by MACO, a recognised European hardware brand. The window opens inward. A thermal rain protection rail (GTR 22.44 K), rubber draught excluders, and a black metal sill combine to create a comprehensive weather barrier, protecting both the window unit and the surrounding timber casing against wind and water ingress.
Compatible with Dadsons Timber Buildings
The GW-3 is designed as a compatible accessory for Dadsons log cabin structures. The spruce casing with rubber sealants ensures a snug, draught-free fit into log wall openings. Delivered as part of a flat-pack building kit or as a standalone component.
