The silicone sealant ensures the unit remains airtight and watertight throughout its life. Overall, the composition achieves a U-value of 1.1.

The tilt-and-turn mechanism is supplied by MACO, a recognised European hardware brand. The window opens inward. A thermal rain protection rail (GTR 22.44 K), rubber draught excluders, and a black metal sill combine to create a comprehensive weather barrier, protecting both the window unit and the surrounding timber casing against wind and water ingress.
