We supply sawn timber from pine and spruce — two species widely used in European construction for their reliable strength-to-weight ratio, consistent grain structure, and ease of processing. Both are sourced from sustainably managed forests and carry predictable mechanical properties that make them straightforward to specify.
Timber is available in two moisture states. Freshly sawn timber retains its natural moisture and is well suited to applications where further processing will take place on site, or where the timber will be used in conditions that allow for gradual drying in place. Kiln-dried timber, supplied at 14–20% moisture content, is the standard choice for timber-frame construction, roof structures, and joinery work — applications where dimensional stability from the outset is required and movement after installation needs to be minimised.
Standard cross-sections cover 25×50 mm, 25×100 mm, 25×150 mm, 50×50 mm, 50×100 mm, 50×150 mm, and 50×200 mm, with lengths from 1,200 mm to 6,000 mm.
