These scaffolding boards comply with BS 2482:2009 — the British Standard that defines load, moisture, and dimensional requirements for timber used in scaffolding systems. Whether for residential, commercial, or industrial projects, our scaffolding boards provide reliable support to enhance safety and efficiency on the job site.
Each board is fitted with a metal plate clamping on both end surfaces. This prevents splitting along the grain when boards are subjected to concentrated loads or repeated handling across projects. It also reduces waste from end damage, making the boards more economical over their full working life.
Two thickness profiles are available — 38 mm and 63 mm — both at a standard width of 225 mm. Lengths range from 1,250 mm to 3,900 mm, covering the span range typical in scaffolding bays without requiring on-site cutting. Standard boards are supplied at below 20% moisture content. For sites exposed to persistent weathering or where boards remain in place for extended periods, our premium treatment option brings moisture content below 15%, improving resistance to decay and dimensional change.
